We aim to build strong relationships with our clients and key to this is to provide continuity of staff. Staff changes within the office are rare. The following team members are based at our office on the Fylde and are responsible for the delivery of services to our clients:-

Paul Wilcock FCCA

Paul Wilcock FCCA

Paul joined the office in 2003 having previously worked form KPMG and Baker Tilly where he gained experience in looking after small and medium size enterprises.

Paul became a Director of Montpelier Accountants in 2007 when the office joined the Montpelier Group. He now focuses on looking after the needs of our limited company clients and delivers a hands-on pragmatic approach to addressing the issues that his clients face on a day to day basis. Paul's committed to helping his clients achieve their business objectives and helping them maximise and retain their wealth.

Paul’s other interests include classic cars and he is a key member of the Team which organises The Cleveleys Classic Car Show each year.
Sharon Truesdale

Sharon Truesdale

Sharon’s career began in 1989 when she joined the Inland Revenue where she trained and worked in all aspects of personal taxation. Sharon joined the office in 2004 to take over responsibility for running a large portfolio of personal tax clients including sole traders, partners and directors.

Sharon will guide you through the complexities of personal tax and will complete your Self Assessment Return and calculate your Tax liabilities. She'll also liaise and negotiate with HMRC on behalf of clients where necessary.
Peter Holt MAAT

Peter Holt MAAT

Peter joined the office in 1983 and qualified as a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 1984.

As a senior accountant he looks after a portfolio of clients providing accounting and taxation services. This includes the preparation of VAT Returns and monthly management accounts for a number of clients.

Peter has established an excellent working relationship with his clients many of which he's been involved with for over 20 years. Peter is often is viewed by our clients as part of their own team.
David Harter

David Harter

David was the former proprietor of the business and has maintained a role within Montpelier as a consultant looking after a select number of clients who have been with him for many years.

His many years of experience is something that the team sometimes draw upon when faced with a new problem. This is probably because his advice normally proves to be spot on !
Suzanne Grundy

Suzanne Grundy

Suzanne joined the office in 2013 to cope with the additional demand for payroll services following the introduction of the new RTI (Real Time Information) payroll system by HMRC. Suzanne has worked on payroll throughout her working career and started off running the payroll for a large public company with many employees.

She currently deals with all of the payroll affairs for those clients who do not wish to be burdened with payroll calculations and submissions to HMRC.
Margaret Hulme

Margaret Hulme

Every office needs an efficient and reliable administrator to support the other team members. Margaret joined the office in 1978 and has become an essential part of the team. Whatever the task in hand, Margaret delivers it on time and with enthusiasm.

Her length of service means that she is a familiar face to all of our clients with whom she has established an excellent rapport.
